Assistance in document reviews
I can help you to identify information that is drafted in a foreign language and translate key sections of very large documents.
In the past, my involvement in document reviews has helped clients to make significant savings as they were able to narrow down the volume of documents needing to be subsequently translated.

Interpreting Services

Simultaneous interpreting
Orally translating a speaker’s words at the same time as they are being spoken. In this type of situation, I would ideally work in a booth and the audience would listen to the oral translation using headphones, or I could work remotely from my own office.
This type of interpreting is often used for conferences and speeches.

Whispered interpreting (chuchotage)
In this case, I would be located either next to or behind a person for whom I would orally translate the words being spoken in a very low voice (whispering).
For example, I have provided this type of service during court hearings when a participant wanted to follow what was happening but did not understand the language being spoken.

Liaison (bilateral) interpreting
Orally translating a conversation between individuals who do not speak the same language. In this case, I would provide an oral translation in both directions, thus covering all participants’ needs and acting as an intermediary between them.
I have completed many liaison interpreting assignments (both in person and remotely) during meetings or interviews, including witness interviews and conference calls.

Sight translation
In this case, I would orally translate a written text.
For example, in certain cases clients have required my assistance to provide a sight translation of a document they have been asked to sign during a meeting.
